Ten-Lined June Beetle

The Ten-Lined June Beetle (Polyphylla decemlineata) is a large beetle that would make an interesting broach if it would just hold still.  July is a good month to find them near your outdoor lights.

Six Legs.  An insect.  Great eyes.
