Beetles, those six-legged insects with wings are everywhere. Below is a Red-femored Milkweed Beetle (Tetraopes femoratus) on a Showy Milkweed.
Another Milkweed loving bug is the Large Milkweed Bug (Oncopeltus fasciatus). These are still young. The wings, the black at the shoulders, are still developing.
