Five of the six milkweeds show on this site can be found at North Sterling State park in season. This photo was taken August 4. Note the slender leaves on this species. Distinctly different from the other milkweeds.
And then the seedpods.
Few other plants look like this. The smaller greenish-gray plants around it are young Prairie Sage.
