Yes, this is a white flower, but I chose to place it here so that it can be seen beside its many relatives.  And, being white, it is much easier to identify.  This one is at North Sterling State Park but the prairie is scattered with them.   It is named for Englishman Thomas Drummond who collected in America 1825 to 1835.
