Not a city bird. Loves the prairie. Great markings.
Lark Sparrow on its nest. Both parents tend the young. Nest is on the ground and beneath a Wavy-Leafed Thistle.
The differently colored egg is probably a gift from a Cowbird. (See Cowbird in this section.)
